ALH Recruitment is looking for 2nd Class Welders and Trade Assistants to join a busy manufacturing workshop in North Tivoli, Ipswich.
You’ll be working with a well-established Australian manufacturer producing heavy-duty bull bars and truck accessories, with a strong pipeline of production and ongoing work available.

About the Role You’ll be part of a hands-on production team manufacturing heavy-duty bull bars and truck accessories.
Duties
2nd Class Welders
- MIG weld steel and aluminium components
- Complete fit-up, tacking and fabrication work
- Weld and assemble bull bar and truck accessory components
- Carry out repairs and modifications where required
- Use grinders, saws and other workshop equipment
- Read and work from basic drawings and specifications
- Maintain quality and production standards
Trade Assistants
- Assist tradespeople with fabrication and assembly
- Prepare and move steel and aluminium components
- Use grinders, drills, saws and other hand and power tools
- Sand, grind and finish metal components
- Assist with bull bar assembly
- Load, unload and move materials around the workshop
- General workshop labouring and housekeeping

ALH Recruitment is seeking MR/HR licensed Labourers to join a leading road maintenance contractor based in Swanbank. If your a Sprayer or SPreader Operator even better!
Whether you’re an experienced Spray Seal, Asphalt or Road Maintenance Labourer, or you’re a hands-on MR/HR driver or construction labourer looking to learn new skills, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career in road maintenance.
No spray seal experience? No problem, training is provided for the right person.

About the Role You’ll work as part of an experienced crew delivering spray seal, asphalt and road maintenance projects across Queensland.
This is a genuinely hands-on position involving physical labour, truck driving and assisting operators on site.
You’ll need to be flexible and comfortable working day shifts, night shifts and away from home when required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist with spray seal and asphalt operations
- Drive crew trucks between depots and project sites
- Rake, shovel and spread materials
- Load and unload plant, equipment and materials
- Assist spray seal crews and plant operators
- General road maintenance and construction labouring
- Set up and pack down work sites
- Follow site safety procedures
Spray seal experience is highly regarded but NOT essential.
If you’ve got your MR or HR licence, enjoy physical work and are willing to learn, we’d like to hear from you.
Essential Requirements
- MR or HR Truck Licence – Essential
- Construction White Card – Essential
- Current Driver Licence & reliable transport
- Available for day shifts, night shifts and away work
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Able to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
